Dose:
Adults
1-2 tea-spoonful of gel four times daily
Children aged 6 years and over
One tea-spoonful of gel four times daily
Children aged 2-6 years
One tea-spoonful of gel twice daily.
Infants under 2 years
Half tea-spoonful of gel twice daily
For localized lesions of the mouth, a small amount of gel may be applied directly to the affected area with a clean finger. For topical treatment of the oropharynx, the gel should be kept in the mouth for as long as possible.
Treatment should be continued for up to 2 days after the symptoms have cleared.

Candex
★ Candex containing Nystatin is an antifungal.★ Nystatin has both fungistatic and fungicidal activity against variety of pathogenic and nonpathogenic yeast and fungi including Candida albicans.
Mode of action:
★ Nystatin exerts its activity by binding to sterols in the fungal cell membrane.
★ As a result, the membrane is no longer able to function as a selective barrier and potassium and other cellular constituents are lost.
Indication:
★ Prevention and treatment of candida infections of the oral cavity (Oral Thrush), esophagus and intestinal tract.
★ Effective prophylaxis against oral candidiasis (Oral Cavity) in those born of mothers with vaginal candidiasis
Dosage & Administration:
Children & Adult:
1 ml of the suspension should be dropped into the mouth 4 times daily for 7 days.
